The Phoenix Parent Coaching Books

In “I’m in Charge!” we created four children with typical characteristics to help you learn to be in charge even if your child is hyperactive, has learning challenges, is strong willed or sensitive.

  •  Morgan is a hyperactive, sweet, young elementary school aged child.
  •  Brandon is a kind high school student who is adapting to his learning disabilities.
  •  Jeremy is in junior high school and has been strong willed all of his life.
  •  Tina is an older elementary school student who has Sensory issues and worries a lot.

All of them have really great parents who are feeling lost and are finding new ways to help their children by using the basics of the Phoenix Parent Coaching Program.

The book highlights four challenging areas of parenting:

  • Morning Madness
  • Homework Hassles
  • Dreaded Dinner Time and
  • Bedtime Battles

We use this engaging format to present you with useful tools throughout the book.  Parents have told us that it is a helpful and practical resource to supplement coaching or use as a stand alone option.

For many parents special education is both confusing and critically important to their child’s success in school. There are many options for parents to educate themselves (in general), hire advocates or rely on their school. The missing piece has been teaching parents how to be Parent Advocates for their children.  Building Bridges (The Program or individual meetings) is designed to give you easy to understand, practical and effective parent friendly information and individualized worksheets that allows you to design your own advocacy tools for your unique child. The Building Bridges Program is $150 and will address many concerns. It is designed to be helpful to you throughout your Special Education journey (preschool through start of college). You will receive a FREE 30-minute phone call to clarify 1 area after you purchase the Program.
