504 / IEP Planning
Building Bridges
How to Succeed at 504 and IEP Meetings
Building Bridges was created to help parents be full members at their child’s 504 or IEP meeting. My experience shows that when you come to the table understanding the terminology, prepared for the paperwork and able to communicate well with the team, then you can give your child a voice in his or her goal setting. When teachers, parents and students all understand each other, great goals are written and you can have a successful classroom environment.
Different families need different options for support. We have multiple options for you to choose from on your path.
